katie teixeira, 33 years old. For many years, my life followed a clear path: architecture, construction, management, goals, deadlines. I was a partner and director of construction companies in Paraguay, leading large-scale projects, making tough decisions, managing teams, and taking pride in every achievement. The construction industry taught me about structure, planning, and resilience — but over time, I began to hear a quieter desire: the need to build something within myself.
So, I chose to step off the straight line and allow some curves. I embraced a new chapter and turned my knowledge into a bridge toward the digital world. Today, while traveling across the United States, I’ve also become a content creator, online entrepreneur, and student of life beyond the office walls. I traded concrete for connection — without losing the strong foundation built by my past.
I like to see the world with curiosity. I’ve always believed that every place holds a story, and every step outside my comfort zone brings me closer to who I really am. Traveling, to me, is more than changing the scenery — it’s about changing how I see things. This blog was born from the desire to capture not just destinations, but also the emotions and discoveries along the way. Here, I share what I see, feel, and live.
“I don’t travel to find myself — I travel to remember who I am.”
I haven’t always known exactly what I was looking for. But the road has taught me that not everything needs an immediate answer — sometimes, it’s just about being present. Each place shows me a different version of myself. Some I welcome with joy, others challenge me. But they’re all part of the journey.

I love simple moments: a coffee with a view, a quiet sunset, an unexpected conversation with a local. I don’t travel to check boxes — I travel to feel. I value what’s real, spontaneous, and full of soul. That’s what I try to express in every post and every photo I share here.
I’ll be honest — I’m not in love with writing. Writing has always felt like torture for me. It’s an effort — never easy or smooth. But I still try, because I believe experiences are meant to be shared. I do my best to turn what I lived and felt into words. And if anything I write reaches someone, even quietly, it’s worth it. If you’ve made it this far, make yourself at home. Feel free to write, share your story, or tell me about your journey. I believe there’s something special in opening up about what we live. May this space be more than just mine — may it be ours, built on real connections and meaningful memories.
